  3. Loves me some Wolverton. I posted about this story on my blog Omega Channel some time ago. The story was redrawn for Eerie Publications' Tales From the Tomb mag in the early 70s and renamed Till Death Do Us Part. They even used the same page layout. It's kind of weird. Check out the side by side comparison: http://omegachannel.blogspot.com/2006/04/great-basil-wolvertontales-from-tomb.html

  4. LOLOL! He goes on national TV to declare his scientific genius. "Look, everybody! I've invented the RealDoll! What?! It's NOT creepy, it's SCIENCE!"

And technically, since he's such a dick to her so soon after creating her, he doesn't really need to be ugly for the story to work. He probably couldn't keep a real woman even without having the Mr. Hyde dental plan.

  5. Besides the ‘Tales from the Tomb’ magazine's second version, there's another one magnifically drawn. However the plot is slightly different from the original. In it a mad scientific seeks revenge against strong rivals creating a robot woman whose name is Rita (she actually looks like a gorgeous Rita Hayworth). This lethal robot, besides being strong, is created with the desire of kissing her victims to death. The end is almost similar to Wolverton‘ story. I’ve been searching for this version in the net without success. If you happen to know where I can find it I’ll appreciate the information. Thank you.
