It's no wonder he sleeps alone. This one-pager from Feature Comics #135 was published way back in June 1945, a time when comic books were not for girls!

    I also can't help but notice the name of the strip is "Lala Palooza". I had always assumed Lollapalooza was something Perry Ferrell made up for his touring show.

    I dunno how not-for-girlish this one is. I've seen a few of these and the fat guy is always getting clocked by his sister. Nothing "male chauvinist" there, IMO.
