This is probably my last post until next Tuesday. I'm moving to a new place today and in the fast-paced, cutting edge, digital world of today it takes 5 days to transfer my service to the new apartment. The future is now!
So to hold you all over here is a short list of songs that even the most tone-deaf, inept performer can sing and sound good. Try it! You'll see, even sounds great acapella.
Scotch and Soda - Kingston Trio
Big Yellow Taxi - Counting Crows
Tequila Sunrise - Eagles
Everybody's Talkin' - Henry Nilson
Call me Mr. Pedantic--I really wish somebody would as I think it's kinda catchy--but shouldn't that read "Big Yellow Taxi - Joni Mitchell"? I mean, she did write and record the song several decades before Mr. Horowitz and crew took a stab at it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I managed to sound pretty awful when I started singing it, but that's probably because I was trying to--just to be a jerk.
Sounds like you're good at that.
DeleteI meant what I said. Horowitz has a scratchy, cracked voice.
