I think I've seen nearly everyone of these gags on a popular cartoon series over the last couple of years. To be fair, how many jokes can possibly be derived from having a square-shaped body?

From Cosmo the Merry Martian #1-6 (Archie Comics, 1958 series).

  1. How many jokes?

Given that it's essentially the same joke (taking something that is not square and making it square), they could probably keep going until they run out of things that aren't square.

For a very loose definition of "joke", you understand.

  2. He'd be funnier on Htrae. Or not as funny. I can't figure out the Bizarro logic here.

  3. Taking that same joke and running it into the ground worked wonderfully for Little Dot. Of course, unlike Squarehead, Miss Polka was not averse to flashing some knickers now and then....

  4. Reminds me of when Donald & the boys went to Plain Awful and had to blow square bubbles.
