There is a darn good reason for not putting sound effects on the cover of a comic book.



It's stupid.

    I'da swore that cover said "Who is stalking Grandpa" the first time I read it.

    Also stupid: dialogue balloons on covers that don't feature Jughead or Casper. DC seemed to go a LONG time without using them, and then came Shadowpact #3 and they figured, "hell, let's bring 'em back!" But that's like deciding it's okay to ignore established character history because Ambush Bug gets away with it.
