President George Clooney?

Unlike another fellow with the same first name, no one has ever accused George Clooney of being stupid. I wonder if his desire for personal privacy that is balanced by carefully choreographed public statements is part of a planned career path that may take George out of Hollywood and into a different type of theatre.

I hesitate to consider it, but in about a decade will America be under the leadership of

President George Clooney?

To help you consider such a scenario click to hear 'Hail-to-The-Chief' and then stare at the picture of George while it plays.

  1. I prefer to look at this Clooney photo while I listen to "Hail to the Chief," thanks.

  2. Ok, Bully.

Yet while George Clooney destroyed the Batman franchise I doubt he would do the same to America.

Please. Saying Clooney destroyed the Batman franchise is like saying (ridiculous analogy of the week) Rommel is to blame for World War II. Yeah, it couldn't have happened without him, but it's the crazy guy in charge that's ultimately at fault.

'Sides, President Batman? Who wouldn't want to live in that world?

    Besides me, of course.

  4. This is a weirdly logical suggestion. Clooney's clearly an intelligent man, and he's also a handsome actor. My god, it would be a slaughter at the polls.

  5. Darn it, now I want to read a Silver Age story ("a complete three-chapter novel-length thriller in 22 pages!") entitled "President Batman."
