The TARDIS is chasing that car? I think I missed that episode.
2006 Xmas Special
This show just keeps getting better. Is this guy the Doctor for the next few seasons, or have they already announced his replacement?
No word on him leaving yet, but you never know.
Oh yes! I'm lucky enough to be in London over Christmas, and I got to see it, stuffed full of turkey, sausages, and Christmas pudding, and I howled in delight when the TARDIS barreled down the highway (the M4?) in pursuit of a black London cab.Later in the episode, the Doctor rides a Segway. Wonderful visuals, yes, but a honestly touching and funny episode. It's wonderful to see how effectively and strongly the BBC has resurrected this franchise.
You are in London and I'm in Maryland. I read your blog with envy.
The M4 is the main motorway (highway) west out of London.Looks like we get to keep the current Doctor for at least the next season, as there were previews at the end of the christmas special. What I don't understand is how the new companion he's getting next season is played by an actress who died in the last season. I'm assuming she's not playing the same character, but you never know.

An article in a London paper today says that David Tennant has not yet been signed for a fourth series (season) of Doctor Who, but BBC officials say that just because they haven't scheduled production on the fourth series yet. The third series starts this spring in the UK; I don't know when it starts on Sci-Fi in the US.
