  1. Ack! I used to own this comic and completely forgot about it!!

It would be awesome to see him return, especially given his Civil War-esque surrender to the forces of rightness.

  2. My first exposure to Ameridroid was the exact point I lept off the Mike Zeck-era Cap with issue #261. Apparently there was a lengthy retcon that the Ameridroid and Cap had a long adventure in between the time Bucky died and Cap fell into the water, and when Cap was frozen and drifted into the Arctic. Uh, that one I ain't buying.

And really, who knew Hitler kept such a close watch on Hollywood goings-on?

  3. But he does seem to have a certain...zest, for what he's doing! If you are going to kick people, do it with a smile on your face.

  4. Plus, writer Don Glut took about 6 issues to tell the story! Way too much decompression for a tale that took about 20 minutes from start to surrender.

  5. The forest? Nope, actually, he went to Florence, Italy and settled down with Michelangelo's David.

  6. I was saying how much I liked the "cap was right" button. I found it at PostModernBarney and he passed along that it was your design.

    I dig, very much.
