Comic Book PSA: From the files of UNESCO

No, it isn't a spy story, just another public service announcement opening up some young minds while being condescending at the same time. The title From the Files of UNESCO sure suggests some CIA shenannigans going on, though, complete with a crossover from The Man from UNCLE. The positive message in this PSA is kind of spoiled by my distatste for the cliche trend of a caucasian saving an ethnic group, ie; The Last Samurai movie, etc.

Brave & the Bold #63, Jan 1966

This issue of B&B is the infamous Supergirl & Wonder Woman story The Revolt of the Super-Chicks and there is so much to say about women's roles, comics and the Amazons that I couldn't possibly review it, even if that was my forte. Possibly Marionette could. So if she ever gets the urge I guess she will address it on her end.

Wonder Woman thinks her skimpy costume is frumpy?

  1. I'm guessing Liefield or someone came back in time from the 90s, wrote that one dialogue line for Wonder Woman, and zipped right back.

  2. Blue satin Depends are frumpalicious. But Roman sandals with spike heels more than make up for it.
