A local grocery store I frequent here in Maryland has several community bulletin boards adjacent to the cash registers and the exits. One of the boards is reserved for the display of those missing children alerts that the company receives from one of the exploited children organizations. Many stores do something similar as a public service and these efforts occasionally result in solving a case. If there was an additional charged item on my grocery bill to support this program I'd pay it gladly. Recovering just one child would be worth it.
It is a matter of routine that all the boards in public view are decorated following the store's seasonal or holiday themes. Since it is now October the Fall & Harvest theme that has been used for the last few months was recently updated to include Halloween.
It's a little insensitive to use ghosts as decoration alongside the missing children notices.
